  2. I placed an online occasion order a few weeks ago to collect from the Aylesbury Gatehouse Store. On the day of collection, I received an email advising that my card payment had declined for £336 and to contact a telephone number to resolve the issue, ensuring the items could be collected. During the phone call, my card declined again, and I received a fraud message from my bank. They contacted the store to verify that the items were available and that I could pay for the goods on-site. I had ordered food for a friend’s 50th wedding anniversary party and was very stressed, thinking there would be no buffet.
    At the store, a manager named Dinash sorted out the whole matter for me, confirming that the food was there and we would ring through all the boxes through the till. The customer service was excellent, as demonstrated by him and a young colleague who showed me. Very helpful and reassuring. I managed to resolve the issue with my bank, as they stopped the purchase on my credit card because it was a larger amount than I would usually spend, and they wanted to verify it was me. Please pass on my thanks, he saved the day after a challenging time sorting things out.
